Power generation tracking reveals a structural shift in global utility procurement. Over the coming twelve months, utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage installations will add roughly 82.7 gigawatts of new capacity to the grid, while total fossil fuel and nuclear thermal infrastructure faces a net contraction of over 1.4 gigawatts.
