About this opportunity

The Dunmore Community Benefit Fund is a local grant programme administered by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland (CFNI). It supports community projects that deliver social, economic, and environmental benefits for people living within 10 miles of the Dunmore Wind Farm. The fund is designed to ensure that the wind farm, alongside its environmental benefits, delivers significant social and economic value to the local community.

CFNI welcomes applications from constituted community and voluntary groups working on projects planned and run for the benefit of the local population within the defined 10-mile radius. Supported focus areas include community cohesion and engagement, energy efficiency and sustainability, social, cultural or sporting benefits, training and education, environmental benefit, and economic benefit.

Funding does not support statutory organisations, individuals, retrospective project costs, salaries, political or religious activities, running costs of large organisations, or activities located outside the designated area. Applications and monitoring returns are processed through CFNI's Fundseeker Portal.
