The opportunity allows individuals with an interest and experience in conservation, biodiversity protection, sustainable development, and regional environmental governance to contribute to the strategic direction of a major Caribbean environmental fund.

As a regional institution managing resources for environmental and conservation purposes across the Caribbean, effective governance and oversight are central to the Fund's operations. Board members will play a key role in supporting strong fiduciary oversight, objective governance, and strategic impact. Directors will also have opportunities to represent the CBF at regional and international meetings, convenings, and other strategic engagements, which may involve travel where appropriate.

This appointment is for a governance and strategic oversight role and is not a conventional employment position. Board service is voluntary and unremunerated, though official travel expenses may be covered when representing the Fund.
