About this opportunity

The ClimateCAP MBA Fellowship 2027 is a 12-month professional and academic development programme designed for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students who want to understand the relationship between climate change, business strategy, investment, innovation, and sustainable economic development.

Managed by the ClimateCAP Initiative at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, the fellowship aims to prepare the next generation of business leaders to understand and respond to the challenges and opportunities created by climate change. The programme brings together selected MBA students interested in climate leadership, helping them expand their knowledge, build professional networks, learn from experts, and develop practical experience through a self-directed climate-action project.

The fellowship combines expert-led learning sessions, cohort-based collaboration, mentorship, and an applied project that fellows develop throughout the programme. Participants explore topics such as clean energy, climate finance, sustainable agriculture, carbon markets, circular economy business models, climate technology, climate policy, sustainable supply chains, and climate-resilient investment. The fellowship runs from January to December 2027, with participants expected to attend the ClimateCAP MBA Summit in New York City.
