M-Kopa: Senior CRM Manager

M-KOPA is recruiting a Senior CRM Manager to join its Product Growth team in a fully remote role (UTC -1 to UTC +3). Unlike traditional senior growth roles focused on a single channel or pod, this role is designed to offer ownership across two core growth pods within the first year—starting with Repeat Phones and expanding into Digital Lending—before transitioning into the Lifecycle pod. The position focuses on driving conversion growth, reactivation, and upgrade campaigns to create financial inclusion for millions of customers across Africa.

Throughout the role, the Senior CRM Manager will build and execute multi-channel campaigns (SMS, WhatsApp, push, in-app) using CleverTap, run structured growth experiments, optimize funnels, and track key metrics such as reactivation rate, upgrade conversion, unit economics, and digital loan volumes across core markets including Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, and Ghana.

Key Qualifications:

- 5+ years in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing, ideally in fintech, telco, or e-commerce with demonstrated campaign/pod ownership.

- Strong judgment and hands-on fluency in CRM platforms such as CleverTap or Braze.

- Comfortable analyzing funnels and cohorts without assistance.

- Genuine appetite for pod leadership and adaptability to work across dynamic pods.
