About this opportunity

The Adaptation & Resilience ClimAccelerator Tanzania 2026 is an opportunity for entrepreneurs, startup founders, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) developing innovative solutions to climate change challenges in Tanzania. Powered by Climate KIC and implemented by Ennovate Ventures and Anza Entrepreneurs, the programme aims to strengthen climate-focused businesses, improve their investment readiness, and help them scale solutions that protect communities, livelihoods, and ecosystems from the growing effects of climate change.

As Tanzania experiences climate-related challenges such as drought, flooding, changing rainfall patterns, rising temperatures, and pressure on coastal and marine ecosystems, the need for practical and scalable adaptation solutions continues to grow. Businesses that can help farmers manage climate risks, coastal communities protect their livelihoods, and households access reliable water, energy, and sanitation services have an important role to play in building a more resilient future.

The programme offers structured business development support, expert mentorship, sector-specific guidance, networking opportunities, and investment-readiness assistance over a five-month period. It also provides access to grant funding, with up to €95,000 in total funding available among 10 selected startups, subject to programme conditions and completion requirements. Applications are open to eligible Tanzania-based ventures working in Food & Water, Coastal & Blue, and Health & Resilience.
