Anthropic: Community Engagement Manager, Data Centers (Louisiana)

Anthropic is seeking a Community Engagement Manager in Louisiana to join its Public Policy team and serve as the on-the-ground presence in communities where data centers are sited, built, and operated. This role focuses on building trusted, sustained relationships with local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents from early site selection through long-term operations.

Key responsibilities include developing community engagement strategies across markets, representing Anthropic in public forums and planning hearings, monitoring local sentiment, partnering with Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Sustainability teams, coordinating charitable giving, and developing a repeatable community engagement playbook for scaling infrastructure footprint. The role requires regular travel within Louisiana (up to 50%) and occasional travel to other data center markets.
