About this opportunity

The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is accepting applications for its internship programme, offering students and recent graduates an opportunity to gain professional experience in an international environment at the IACA campus in Laxenburg, Austria.

The IACA Internship Programme is designed to help emerging professionals develop practical skills and gain experience working in a multicultural international organization focused on anti-corruption education, research, and capacity building. Internships are offered across several functional areas, including external relations and strategic partnerships, marketing and communications, law, capacity-building and educational activities, information technology, finance, and human resources.

Placements are normally full-time for three to six months. While the internship is unremunerated, IACA provides interns with a monthly lump-sum compensation toward local transportation costs. Interns are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, living expenses, health insurance, and visa costs.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD programme (or equivalent) at a recognized university, or be recent graduates who completed their studies no more than one year prior to applying. Applicants must demonstrate strong English-language skills (oral and written communication), adaptability to a multicultural environment, and strong personal integrity. Previous practical work experience is not a prerequisite.

An up-to-date CV detailing academic background, skills, and relevant experience. 2. A cover letter of no more than 400 words outlining interest in the programme, relevant experience, and professional development goals. 3. The names and contact details of two references familiar with the candidate's qualifications. 4. Indication of preferred availability/dates.
